So for the past couple of days danny, teegan, mike and clayton were enjoying themselves at the desert...... riding. some quality daddy son bonding time. tess was originally suppost to go but decided at the last minute she did not want to ride a quad, kinda like she does not want to play soccer- i have to bribe her-i thought she was going to be an athlete-well i know she's only 4 but anyways i guess i need to sign her up for dance. so....having twins who are always together- never apart- i just thought they hated each other (maybe hate is to strong of a word). well at mops today tess had to go by herself, my friend oly was helping in her class so she told me this.........she found tess silently crying when she asked her what was wrong she said she missed me, then the regular teacher looked at oly and said maybe she misses teegan, so oly asked and tess started crying even harder and said YES, they really do have a special bond-they need each other- this is one of the first times they have been apart from each other this long, i hope they are best friends for life. So the big question is .....................Should they be in the same kindergarden class together??????????????????????? I love my teeg and tessi girl so much.

So, we did it and completed the race in 1hr. and 8 minutes. What an accomplishment it was for all of us. Oly's sweet sisters suprised her and were waiting at the finish line . My cute hubby showed up driving the ladder truck-He sure does look good in that uniform- Anyways we all had fun and are ready for our next race:)
Fun Times
My kids claim I know how to make a MEAN fort- What a fun day we had destroying the playroom and camping out in our fort. Although Tatum chose to stay out of our little fort she had fun reading books and destroying other things in the playroom.
BIRTHDAYS ARE THE BEST
Tessa told Danny she wanted to get me a scarf, so she picked out this purple scarf just for me. Thankx Tess.
Teegan was so sweet. He took me on a date to.... of course, mommy's fav, Starbucks. He paid for everything. When he gave it to me he said "I'm gonna tell the workers it's my moms birthday she can have whatever she wants." He chickened out when we got there but he was so proud to buy my drink and we had a nice time just the two of us. He made sure we brought something home for Tess, what a sweet bro.
Newport Dunes
We had a blast. The weather was awesome, Teeg and Tess learned how to swim and Tatum realized she could throw a major fit. Copper had fun too, he got to swim in the ocean everyday. We rode the ferry to Balboa Island and went on the ferris wheel and we were able to go to the OC Fair. Danny and the twins rode an elephant. We had lots of family visit and we can't wait to go back again.
New Blog
So our summer started with Danny going to work for his normal 24hr shift. Well, he called that night and told me he was leaving for a fire, and since we don't watch T.V., I had no idea there were fires burning out of control. He expected to be gone for 2 weeks, but it turned out to be 9 days. Of course he had fun he got to fight some fire, although he did miss us tremendously:). The kids and I stayed busy going to the library, movies, bouncy places and bible study (some nice time for me). I did get a babysitter a few days just so I could have a break. Danny came home with a mustache, ewwwww, Tess and I did not like it, he quickly shaved it for us. We then went to the lake with 3 other families. It was a blast, we got to wakeboard and the twins did so well on their ski, they also had a blast tubing. Tatum was constantly in the water and kept me on my toes. The twinners started V.B.S. this week along with Gav, Clay and Kyra. I was so excited for them because I remember how much fun I had at V.B.S. To see a church sanctuary full of children praising the Lord and learning God's truth melts my heart. They are all having so much fun. We are leaving tomorrow for 10 days to go to the beach-I can't wait. God has been good to me- until next time :) Oh, I forgot, I went (and helped plan) my 10yr. reunion- it was so much fun and so good to catch up with old friends.
