PSALM 100:4 I AM THANKFUL FOR SO MUCH, MY HARD-WORKING HUSBAND WHO IS AN AMAZING DAD, MY ADVENTUROUS KIDS, FOOD IN OUR PANTRY, JESUS WHO IS DOING A MAJOR WORK ON MY HEART, FAMILY CLOSE BY, CLOSE FRIENDS....JUST TO NAME A FEW. this week we decided to "get away" not too far, actually right in our backyard, lake skinner. i felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. i was amazed again by God's creation. we enjoyed friends and family one night, just us the rest of the time, fishing, bike rides, playing, eating, roasting marshmallows and just being.

HE IS A STAR

i took this off of the FNL website. he has become very serious about football this year. i love his passion! i am constantly passing the ball with him in the yard. he scored almost all the touchdowns this year for his team. it was pretty exciting watching his cousin Gavin as his quarterback, they made a pretty darn good team. at playoffs friday night gavin threw teegan two touchdown passes, talk about exciting, i was screaming my head off!

teegan wants to be a navy seal when he grows up. he is pretty serious about it. he watches training videos as much as i will let him. he asks where he should go to college ( he wants it to be a college where he can train to be a seal and play football and possibly wrestle)! every thing he writes and draws is centered around navy seals. for right now it is a good motivator for him.

Santa Monica had their first ever Firefighters for Christ breakfast. i am so happy as a firefighters wife to be part of such an amazing organization.

school

tessa was picked from her class (along with a 4 others) to compete in the school spelling bee. she got out on the third round for the word famous which she spelled famose?! bummer, i was so nervous the whole time. i am so used to sporting events where i can yell (and encourage :) ) my kids from the sidelines. during the bee there was no talking at all and everyone was so serious. tess had a good time and i am so extremely proud of her!

each class at calvary performs at chapel (which is every wed. morning. it nudges on my heart every week i go, to see a room full of kids truly worshipping God with their hands lifted high, brings me to tears almost every time). so this week it was teegan's turn. they did a performance about noah and obeying God. i was a proud mama again!
