I can NOT wait!!!!!!
My hubby and I get to go to Vegas this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it, a vacation with just the 2 of us. We are even gonna see a show. I'm excited to spend time with my hubby and sleep in until 12, oh and lay by the pool without worrying about kiddos. I'm sure just the car ride will be magical-no kids to entertain. WOOOOHOOOO! HERE WE COME VEGAS!!!!
MY MOMS GOT SKILLZ
My mom has been on vacation for the past couple of weeks visiting her family. While she was gone she and her sister were busy making lots of new beautiful creations. This adorable headband is one of them. I LOVE IT!!!
ST. BALDRICKS
The Santa Monica Fire Department will be shaving their heads to help raise money for kids with cancer. YOU can help out by going to www.stbaldricks.org. LOST TooTH
This story begins with us all (Tatum, Tessa, Teegan, Lindsey and me) sitting in a tiny corner of Tessa's room. The kids had just gotten out of the bath and it was time to go to bed. That is when I decided it would be a good time to try and PULL Teegan's TOOTH.
We tied dental floss around it and PULLED
We each tried to wiggle it OUT.
He even tried biting into an APPLE.
And then my cousin PULLED and it was gone-LITERALLY-it flew across the room and was no where to be found.

FOUND LIZARD
Teegan found the cutest little baby lizard in the front yard. He ran around the neighborhood showing all the kids. When he returned home the little lizard was gone. Teegan told me he gave the lizard away for FREE to the kid across the street. He said I could have SOLD him but I decided the kid didn't have to PAY.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE NEVER BORING
Over the weekend the kids and I traveled to the O.C. We celebrated Danny's 2nd cousin EVA's 1st birthday. I think birthdays are the best because of the:

Traveling Up-North
We traveled up north last week 8 hours to suprise Danny's grandpa for his 80th birthday. We had lots of fun. Danny, the kids and I all wake surfed, I did not have the camera on the boat though-so no pictures. We tubed, ate rode bikes and enjoyed hanging with Danny's family. A good time was had by all!

Danny's Aunt Karen brought special treats for the kids each day. Water guns-light sabers-bubbles.
We stopped in the middle of no where so Danny and Teegan could go potty. Pretty Corn fields.

Kindergarten
I can't believe my twinners started the big K. This past week has been great. I get up at 6 then wake everyone at 7, they have to be there between 7:45 and 8:15. I don't pick them up until 2:45. I thought they would be exhausted the first week but I was wrong they seem to have more energy! Maybe next week it will catch up with them. They have enjoyed every day! I fought back the tears the first day. I love their teacher and aide-Teegan really loves his aide he told her he loves her! They get to sit next to each other and Tess has been taking care of Teeg (the teacher told me she is always looking out for him). The twins and I knew a few kids in their class from church. On Wednesday Tatum and I went to chapel with them-it was AMAZING- watching a room full of students and staff praise GOD. I can't wait to go back to chapel. So far we are all loving school, Tates and I are enjoying ourselves too!
Why Is IT????
Why is it that every time I put my kids down for a nap all I want to do is take a nap?
Why is it that as soon as I wake up in the morning all I want to do is drink a cup of coffee?
Why is it that every time I tell a cute story about my kids I always cry?
Why is it that every time I watch a sad movie I don't cry?
Why is it that every time I go to the movies I think I need to eat candy the whole time?
Why is it that when I see my daughters hair messy I think it needs a bow?
Why is it that when I see my hubbies muscles I want to kiss him?
Why is it that when the kids and I have no where to go we stay in our jammies all day?
Why is it that I really have to be in the mood to talk on the phone?
Why is it that I have a blog but I don't really know how to make it look cute?
Why is it that I love watching shows about families with tons of kids?
Why is it that I love making to-do lists?
Why is it that after I work out in the mornin' I feel awesome the rest of the day?
Why is it that I hate soda and juice?

2 weeks from today.....................
...........Summer ends and the twins start KINDERGARTEN. It's hard for me to fathom that. I know it's just school but Taters and I are gonna REALLY miss them, gone from 8-3 M-F, BOO HOO. Although I think they are gonna have a BLAST and Tate could use some undivided attention from her mommy and daddy! I'll let you know how things go.
Summer has been WONDERFUL, REALLY!!!! We've been swimming a ton (lessons have been a blessing) gone to the lake both Elsinore (I know gross you say but we had great water which makes for awesome wakeboarding) and Nacimiento. We went to the Firefighters Olympics in Anaheim for a week. SMFD took home the gold for basketball-it was intense! While there we hung at the pool went many places to eat and went to Disneyland (we are getting passes too!!!!!!!) All with my hubbies family (well his firefightin' fam) we were busy from sun up WAY past sun down-the kids were troopers! We went to the wild animal park with great friends. In between all that I snuck in a girls weekemd in San Clemente with J and A. It was sooo refreshing and I did things I havn't done in years(Swimming in the BIG waves and Dancing)!!!! We went to Disneyland again last night and saw Fantasmic for the first time-We all LOVED it. So as Summer comes to an end for us we have a few more fun things planned and one more camping trip at the end of August. No pictures for now our CAMERA is away being fixed-I HOPE!!!
